The new 81-740.1 train is now available as a paid add-on for Subtransit Drive!

This is the first truly new and intricately detailed train since the game's release. We are incredibly excited to present the fruits of our painstaking work over the past months. The new model can be purchased within the game or on our website. The train will be available from player level 1.

For the next few weeks, the full version of Subtransit Drive is available at a 30% discount when purchased on our website!

Features to pay special attention to:

Refined new controls and sounds
Several variants of the train control system screen
Anti-slip system
Updated pneumatic brake behavior
Interactive driver’s seat

Additionally, the pneumatic brake behavior on other trains has been updated. Visual interactivity of the overhead navigation display has been added, as well as a button for switching static cameras, which can be brought up on the main screen as an additional button or by replacing one of the existing ones.

The 81-740.1 train corresponds to the 2004-2010 time period, so we have done additional work on passenger announcement recordings to make the immersion even deeper.

Now, when selecting trains on the line, you can replace all trains with the 81-740 series or replace only the desired train among all the standard ones on the line. We are working on the possibility of individual train selection for each player in multiplayer, and this feature will be available soon.

Thanks to all the players and community feedback who have already tried the new depot and multiplayer, we have accumulated a wealth of experience that will help improve connection quality in multiplayer, resource loading, and game optimization on all supported devices. Currently, new servers are being tested to reduce content loading times and game ping, and this work is ongoing.

We are proud that our players continue to build theories and discuss the future of Subtransit based on any published information, and we certainly welcome this.

We want to assure the community that work on the PC version is now a major priority using Unreal Engine 5.4, and we will provide more information as soon as we have something to show you.
